Our mission is to inspire bat conservation worldwide.

Therefore, all photographs on this website are made available for nonprofit educational purposes that advance the conservation of bats. Within terms of the following agreement, students, educators, conservationists and friends of bats are encouraged to use these images to promote public understanding and appreciation of bats as essential to healthy environments and human economies. All other uses are strictly prohibited without clearly defined, written consent from the photographers. All photographs are copyrighted original works and are protected by United States and international copyright law. For all commercial use, order directly from MTBC or contact ScienceSource. Proceeds from sales support our ongoing work on behalf of bats. By downloading images from Merlin Tuttle’s Bat Conservation photo gallery, you agree to the Terms of Use.

Become a Member – We encourage you to share, include and otherwise use these photographs to help further our goals of education and understanding of bats and their benefits. Members get generous discounts but the photos remain available for all to use to promote the conservation of bats. Join MTBC as a member for discount benefits using a coupon code (supplied in your welcome email) upon checkout from our photo gallery or you may download the images from our photo gallery as a nonmember. These images cost $10 for non-members, $2 for members, and some member level benefits include free downloads. If budget is available, donations are always greatly needed and appreciated as it does cost us to keep these resources available.
